Tips

Once in a while, we end up performing a repair that can be easily handled by yourself or could be avoided. Below we offer you a few tips on how to spot potential problems, what to do if there is a problem and whether you can fix it on your own or contact us for fast and professional service.

Tip 1

First off if the HVAC system you have is not pushing out cold air you may need to change your filters. Sometimes the filters get dirty from the elements outside, pet hair or even cotton that flys around New Mexico. So to take care of the issue you want to rinse the compressor down or replace the filters every 2 months.

Tip 2

For a functioning HVAC system you want to make sure there is continues free flowing functional air available. This means you do not want to block the air flow with any trash, plants, or debris.

Tip 3

You can also plan to schedule a professional maintenance (PM) to help keep your air conditioner unit up to date. By having a technician take a look to see if there is any problems with:

Electrical Components

Mechanical Components

Coolant levels

Duct integrity

By having a PM done once or twice a year with a professional technician can save you money and problems they may come down the road.
